F1 = 10cos45 i + 10sin45 j

F2 = 8cos30 i - 8sin30 j


F1 + F2 = 14i + 3.1 j

magnitude = sqrt(14^2 + 3.1^2) = 14.33 N

direction = arctan(3.1/14) = 12.5 degrees


hence

acceleration = net force/mass = 14.33 - 7.5/12 = 0.57 m/s2

direction = 12.5 degrees. (above x axis)
