Explanation / Answer

Option B.

Due to heat, a particular decent amount of water is evaporated from waterbodies of earth on a regular basis. It takes the latent heat to change the state i.e., from water to water vapour. So, the temp falls and we can bear this low temp level. Now, if there was less water more land, the scenario would be drastically changed. Very less amount of water will be available to be evaporated. So, no latent heat will be used up. The temp would go very much higher. And earth would face severe global warming as the avg. temp will increase and ice cap would melt.
