Explanation / Answer
a) Types
Radio
Microwaves
Optical
Infrared
b)By Frequency or Amplitude Modulation in this context
Since radio waves can carry energy, we use them to transmit information by varying the frequency and/or the amplitude of the radio wave to encode a message. For example, a radio transmitter turns a human voice into waves by varying the frequency of radio waves in the same pattern as the sound waves measured by a microphone. This is called frequency modulation or FM. Another way to encode information in radio wave is by varying the amplitude of the waves, called amplitude modulation or AM.
c) Physically wired has a cable and but wireless does not require cables.
Technically speaking the network adapter of a wired computer converts the computer's data into an electronic signal. A signal is a pulse, created by varying the voltage charged onto the wire of the network cable. The network adapter of a wireless computer generates a radio wave. The radio wave is generated by creating a standard wave which has the length of the transmission frequency. This is called the carrier wave. The network adapter then modifies the carrier wave by adding in the square wave representing the binary number. The receiving device knows the pattern of the carrier wave and removes it from the arriving signal. This leaves the original wave which is converted back into zeros and ones to recreate the original data.
d)Wireless technology is owning the industry now , by getting wireless we are able to do data transmissions more conveniently
Internet allowed the data to become globally available
e) Laptops , smart phones and bluetooth devices
f)
