1. Both, the nervous and the endocrine systems, use chemicals send messages; but the difference is, the nervous system uses neurotransmitters and the endocrine system uses hormones. Also, they both help in homeostasis.

2.In some cases, hormones are synthesized and stored in nerve cells, the secretion of which is controlled by the neurotransmitters; eg. hormones of posterior pituitary gland.

3. In pancreas, islets of Langerhans are a part of endocrine system which produces insulin; othe important hormones include pancreatic polypeptide and somatostatin.; Ductal and acinar cells roduce the digestive juices
