Please help with the following problem:

Light of wavelength 633 nm (He-Ne laser) passing through a pair of slits separated by 0.45 mm produces an interference pattern on a flat wall that is 5.0 m away. The intensity pattern is shpwn to the right. Explain in words, without using any equations, why the pattern appears, i.e. why there are bright regions and dark regions. What is the approximate distance Ah between the bright fringes that are near the central axis? (Hint: Examine the geometry/trigonometry of the slits and the wall, and note that if the distance of the wall is much larger than the slit separation, tan theta = sin theta .) For the m = 2 bright fringe, what is the difference delta r between the distance from each slit to this location?
