3 Part Question
Two concentric spherical shells with uniformly distributed masses M1 and M2 are situated as shown in the figure. M1 has a mass of 1500 kg and M2 has a mass of 600 kg. Find the magnitude of the net gravitational force on a particle of mass 1.0 kg, due to the shells, when the particle is located at radial distance A = 1.5 m. The radial distance is measured from the center of the shells.
And find the magnitude of the net gravitational force on a particle of mass 1.0 kg, due to the shells, when the particle is located at radial distance B = 0.75 m.
And find the magnitude of the net gravitational force on a particle of mass 1.0 kg, due to the shells, when the particle is located at radial distance C = 0.25 m.
Explanation / Answer
figure is not given,, sorry
1 k.g particle not visible, if it is inside the concentric shells,, depending on yhe position net force can be calculated
