Question
Hello, the picture of a portion of a schemetic below contains many letters ( ABCDEF) and my question is what they represent or how to find that information out.
I have not read anywhere in the schematic a table or key that states, so I am wondering if maybe it has to do with the 3 phase power coming in maybe..
there is also numerous other areas of the schematic that will have a letter like J by itself or G,J or CD,AKetc....
you may need to know..... the 20 flag means. use copper wire
5Q5 and 5Q6 =fused disconnect.
"D" =not sure (any suggestions?)
1x2 and 1x1 = power distribution block
Thank you, also if you would suggest any sources for someone trying to learn how to read and practice reading and troubleshooting with larger more complex industrial schemetics, something similar to simutech multimedia or anything books or recources as I have not found any.. thank you!
ester pouto PHASE 20 PHASE 2 L1 L2L3 10 4 5 2 8 8 12- 13- 14 15- 17 18Explanation / Answer
It designated the connection to windings on motors and Genrators. The diagram for the 6 wires to run low voltage.The phases are labelled as A, B,C rotating in clockwise direction from lowest numbered to highest numbered. From outside to inside.
Therefore start of A winding is T1, the start of B winding is T2 and start of C winding is T3. While the end of the A winding is T4, the end of B winding is T5 and the end of C winding is T6.
