In inductance case Voltage leads current

V = -150 cos(377t + 900)

I = 10 cos(377t + 300)

Here,

Voltage leads current so the element must be an inductor

V = L dI/dt

-150 sin 377t / -10 x 377 sin 377t = L

L = 15/377 = 39.7 mH

Now,

The power absorbed is = V x I = 150 x 10 = 1500 VA
