The significance of this group is very much important.

I will give you a brief example.

If you look at the second column which has gram negative bacteria in it, you can see there are wide range of antibiotics such as streptomycin, tetracycline which can be used to treat disease caused by the gram negative bacteria such as salmonellosis, gonorrhoea.

But at the same time you have to remember one more thing, our body also has normal microbial flora in it. One famous example I could give you is E.coli which is found in small intestine. It's a part of normal microbiota.

E.coli is a GRAM NEGATIVE BACTERIA. So when you treat the any disease which is caused by gram negative bacteria you also kill the bacteria which belongs to the same category.

It means both good bacteria (e.coli) and bad bacteria (Gonorrhoea) under the same category (eg. Gram negative bacteria) are killed by the same antibiotics.

So the significance of bottom row is very much important.
