Xandu passes by Yvette and Zandor
distance between Xandu and rubbish bin =1km and velocity of rubbish= 0.3c
a) velocity of Zandor = 0.7c-0.3c= 0.4c because Xandu passes relative to Zandor at the velocity of 0.7c
b) Zandor distance=450m , velocity= 0.3c
velocity = ditance/ time
so time =distance/ velocity = 450/0.3= 1500sec
t1= 1000/0.7= 1428sec and t2= 1500sec
total time= t1 + t2 = 1428 + 1500 =2928 sec
