If a positive point charge is released in an electric field, the charge moves in a straight line when: a. the electric field lines are straight. b. it is inside a conductor. c. the voltage difference between any two points is zero. d. the electric field lines are uniformly curved. e. it is inside a uniformly charged conducting shell.

The electric field lines will be straight. If a test charge is placed on some electric field line, it will experience a force along the line. The direction of this force depends on direction of field line and nature of the charge (+ve or -ve). And ofcourse the charge will make movement along the force applied on it. Thus, you can say, in a way, that these lines represent the direction of movement of charge in the influence of given electric field.
