Core blowing machine uses compressed air to fill the core sand into the core box. For removal of core made using such methods Sand blasting is used. Grit or shot is fired at the core passage within a cabinet either by compressed air or an impeller. It is very Effective in removing large cores with low complexity and has Low health and safety issues, Good casting finish. The major disadvantage is the presence of High level of dust and the possibility of casting wear.
Core ramming process makes core by ramming core sands in the core boxes by machines based on the principles of squeezing, jolting and slinging…For removal of core made using such methods Hydraulic cleaning method is used.
