The United States is the leading country with decreasing carbon dioxide usage overtime. This is done due to decreasing footprint of fossil fuel as the mainstay of energy in the recent times for the United States is shale gas.

China has increased carbondioxide emission rate which is attributed to industrial progress as it strives to become developed economy from developing economy.

European Union seems to have constant carbon dioxide emission as it has included other renewable power projects for its energy supply.
