10. phospholipids are proteins that are found inside cell membrane and aid in the transport of materials into the cell. cholestrol works on the cell by activating RNA which in turn activates protein translation. Basically phospholipids bring in the cholestrol. Cholestrol and phospholipid both aid in the flexibility of the membrane 11. receptor protein sense outside things and when it senses the right thing it is specifically looking for, it brings it in and the transport protein transports it to wherever it is needed in the cell. 12. membrane potential is the difference in electropotential of the interior and the exterior of the cell. The elctrochemical gradient is the direction of flow from the high electropotential side to the low electropotential side. 13. when you exocytose something, you are using that cell's membrane to create the vesicle for transport. When you endocytose something, you are taking the vesicle and adding it to your membrane. Hence the recycling. It just get reused over and over again. 15. You would find the flag outside the cell... lol. Not sure what you are asking. Proteins tend to act on cells, whether it is on the cell it is synthesized or on cells somewhere else, they will act on cells or perhaps in the blood plasma. Wherever the protein acts will be where the flag appears.
