(A)Describe the coupling process when a new nucleotide is added by this novel polymerase. (Draw a picture analogous to Fig. 8-2 on p. 197 of W+, without the extensive primers nucleophile? What is the leaving group? postulate the existence of an additional new enzymatic activity after proofreading in and templates.) What is the nucleophile? If there is a proofreading function, then after addition of a nucleotide, the enzyme cross checks it. If any wrong nucleotide has been inserted, then it removes those.
