a) Operations Strategies : An operations strategy refers to a set of operational decisions that a firm makes to achieve a long-term competitive goal.
b) Engineering Drawings : Engineering drawing is a set of technical drawings wich helps in developing thoughts and ideas in final product. Various pocess includes design, modification,developement, process and prduction planning.
c) Bill of Materials (BOM) : A list of all components (subassemblies and materials) that go into an assenbled item. It mostly includes part numbers and quantity requires per assembly.
d) Part Number Coding : A part number coding (PN) IS an identifier of a particular part in design to simpify reference to part series in assembly.
e) Group Technology: Group technology is a operation management technique in which similar part are arranged into part families for easy identification.
f) Make vs. Buy : A make-or-buy decision is the act of choosing between in-house manufacturing a product or purchasing it from an external supplier.
g) Manufacturing Machines and Processes : The process of converting raw material raw materials into finished product by implying various manufacturing process with help of machinaries.
h) Cellular Manufacturing and Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) : FMS is an integrated approach to automating a production operation to get varities at small batch and lowest cost.
j) Routing Sheets : Roting sheets is a blueprint of manufacturing process prviding route to be followed in a production unit.
k) Linear Flow and Racetrack flow : Linear flow means allocation of limited resources such as material, machines etc sequentially whereas Racetrack flow means providing adiitional channel for assisting the production system.

m) Operations Chart / Sheets : Operations Chart / Sheets is a graphic means of representing the activities that occur during a manufacturing or servicing job.
n) Just-In- Time (JIT) and KANBAN Determination : Just-In- Time (JIT) is determined by Timing device,Time study observation sheet,Time study observation board. KANBAN system is a type of a signalling system used in a pull production process/ EOQ system to manage inventory between processes.The number of kanban cards can be determined by using this formula :
