Question

PLEASE CARRY 4 sig figs for all question. THANKS SOO MUCH

A Aperfect spring of spring constant 4700 N/m is used to launch a block of mass 0.5 kg up a 30-degree incline which has a coefficient of kinetic friction of 0.2. At its equilibrium length, the end of the spring is 1 m from the end of the ramp which is 1 m off the ground. A brick wall is 2 m away from the end of the ramp as shown in the figure. To launch the block the spring is compressed by 10 cm and released from rest. The block flies off the end of the ramp and strikes the brick wall.
(a) What is the work done by friction during the launch?
J

(b) What is the potential energy of the spring when compressed?
J

(c) What is the speed of the block as it leaves the ramp?
m/s

(d) What time is the block in the air before it hits the wall?
s

(e) How high above the floor does the block strike the wall?
m

(f) What is the kinetic energy of the block just before it hits the wall?
J
