Hello!
We just took an exam (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yjvgjn0126rfv41/ijw2ALYghN) and to be honest, we all performed miserably at it.
Our professor will not offer us the answers to try and work it out once we got the exam back.
Could someone please help walk me through the two problems?

In figure 1, I need to find
current Iy
Voltage Vx
Voltage Vcs
Current into the + terminal of the dependent voltage source.

In figure 2, I need to find:
The Thevenin Equivalent Voltage
And the Thevenin Equivalent Resistance

Please help!
I really need to understand this!
