These two forces are F1 = 2,950 Newtons, acting at an angle of 72 degree with respect to the vertical, and F2 = 1,370 Newtons, acting at an angle of 49 degree with respect to the vertical (see figure). Towards which quadrant do you think the ship is pulled towards? Obtain the net force acting on the ship, which is simply the sum of the two forces. Note the coordinate system provided. Write the net force in vector notation (i-j notation), based on this coordinate system.
