1. Convert 85 dB and 84 dB to intensities. Add them. Convert back to dB and compare to the original 85 dB level. 2. Find out what dB level corresponds to 1.5 hours per day. How many more dB is 118 dB than that? Convert that relative amount in dB to a factor, 10^(dB/10).
