Question

For this discussion explain how you are able to see in three dimensions. What do you look for? If you can't see in three dimensions what could you do to code an image so you could get a sense of depth. For instance what could you do with a radial velocity picture of an nebula or a intensity diagram from a radio telescope image? Could you map an image somehow to bring out a perception of depth? Give an example and talk to a link on the internet. -I'm sorry for so many questions. But this is confusing.

Explanation / Answer

Our eyes can only see things in three-dimension. Nothing in one, two or four dimension can be seen. In Mathematic a point has 0 dimension, a line has 1 dimension, a plane has 2 dimension and a solid has 3 dimension. When we see a point, a line and a plane it is because it was drawn with 3 dimension. We see a line, ________________ because it is drawn with 3 dimensions.
