Product planning is the process used by the industry to move a product from the product idea through the creation and introduction of a product to the market place. In a typical product plan the following must be defined: who is the market, what is the size of the market, what is the value proposition, what are the details of the design and the stress analysis. In the "Clean Water" assignment you will be designing a solar powered pumping system and gravity operated water filter to provide clean water for a population in desperate need.

This assignment requires you to follow the industry standard of submitting a product plan from the Christian worldview perspective.

You will submit a one-page product plan which will include the following:

A mission statement or motto.

Identification of who is the market.

Identification of the size of the market.

A human value proposition comparing the impact on human lives vs cost of the product, in relation to caring for and serving others, according to the Christian Worldview

Motto : Water, water everywhere but nor a single drop to drink...but we make the water drinkable...

Identification of who is the market : The words identification and who does not justifies the situation the people going through. Everyone from anywhere are feeling the crisis of drinkable water. In majority the problem seems to have in developed and top developing countries but it doesn't limits itself there. The under developed or the category of lower developing countries needs it utmost. Since it not only serves the criteria for clean water but also of renewable energy.

Identification of size of market: The size of market is too high cause the demand is too high. The people today wants a product of lower costs and high service facility. And hete it serves the both, making the size of its market too high mainly in developing countries.

Human value vs cost of the product: Few things can not be compare with money we put into it. Sometimes somethings value is more the value in its price tag. And this product is something which justifies the above lines. The caring,the tendency of serving which is put into this product is beyond our imagination. The two most important thing in our lives which directly or indirectly effects our lives that are water and energy are both taken care of in this product. The water filter is gravity operated,which means it not only cleans the water by natural process rather saves us from the harmful chemicals used for the filteration of water. The solar power uses the energy of sun which is again natural to pump out the water. Even after all this things the cost of the product is too low in comparison to the artificial water filters.

We believe service to mankind is serving to god.So by this we do it.
