Overlay thickness will be,

For Effective thickness for old pavement conversion factor for Asphalt showing 35% is 0.6, for base c.f is 0.5 and bub base c.f is 0.1 C.F here are taken from IS Code so

HOld = 100 x 0.6 + 150 x 0.5 + 200 x 0.1 = 215mm

HNew = 4 x 100 x 0.6 + (150 x 0.45 + 200 x 0.45) = 397.5mm C.F from Given

HOverlay = 397.5 – 215 = 182.5mm

Important to meet future demands thickness for flexible pavements is more so please keep this as a note. Its more than required but to meet expectations design is made as per it also its not economical.
