1) Owner Capabilities : It refers to the challenges occurring due to the potential of owner of the project. It depends on hoe much he has the capability of spending money, time and resources on the project.
To overcome the problem a proper planning of project should be done beforehand so that proper alternatives can be arranged within time.
2) Financial Resources : It refers to the challenges of arranging the finance for the project.
To overcome this proper project portfolio should be prepared to attract the finance lenders.
3) Construction and Materials Resources : It is the challenges offered by selecting the quality of materials to be used. Moreover carrying these materials to the island is also the challenge.
To overcome this best materials should be chosen as per the finance present or estimated.
4) Manufacturing Capabilities of Suppliers : It refers to the potential of the supplier which includes materials, resources and transportation.
To overcome this challenge a alternate supplier should be contacted beforehand so that in case of emergency he can be useful.
5) Human Resources : It refers to the manpower. It offers the challenges of number, safety, food etc.
To overcome this human resource should be selected on basis of previous experience.
6) Regulatory requirements : It refers to the challenges occurred during the project which deviates from the goal of project.
To overcome this proper measures and check should be included in project work which keep a check at every step and indicate the fault.
7) Construction and Site development issues : It refers to the challenges due the effects of project to site ecosystem.
To overcome this a permission should be taken from the authorities by showing them the effects and change the process if they are resulting environment in negative way.
8) Design and Construction alternatives : It refers to the alternatives present with the contracter and he has to choose from it which will be best.
To overcome this past project data should be considered and according to the result obtained the method should be selected.
9) Construction Contracts arrangements : It refers to the challengea obtained in arranging and making the contracts.
