Question
You are walking a dog when the dog sees a cat and starts to run away from you. You run after him and jump at an angle of 35.0° with speed 5.50 m/s to try and catch the dog. While you are in the air the dog is able to move a distance of 1.48 m. If you are able to land on the dog, how fast must the dog have been running if it was running at a constant speed in a straight line?

If it hits the top of the wall at a speed of 12.4 m/s, how high is the wall? Question 2 You are walking a dog when the dog sees a cat and starts to run away from you. Here ,
let the speed of dog is v
total distance jumped by person , R = u^2 * sin(2 * theta)/g
R = 5.5^2 * sin(2*35)/9.8
R = 2.90 m
time of flight , t = 2 * u * sin(theta)/g
t = 2 * 5.5 * sin(35)/9.8
t = 0.65 s
NOw, distance moved by dog = 2.9 - 1.48 = 1.42 m
speed of the dog = 1.42/0.65 = 2.19 m/s
the speed of the dog is 2.19 m/s
