In a postion vs time, Slope at any point on the courve indicates the velocity at that point. so the slope tool will indicate the velocity at respective points on the curve in this case 0.4sec ,0.8 sec and1.2 seconds. As shown in the figure the slopes at 0.4,0.8 and1.2 are 0.21m/s ,0.36m/s and 0.47m/s respectively
In velocity vs time , the slope at any point gives the acceleration at that point . the slope at the point should be indicted in the units metre per second^2 (m/s^2).
