Question

The person who solved this question before did not solve it completely so if you just give me that answer I will not even rate you or give you one star.

See photo. At the instant shown,  all members are at rest. Assume the rongeur is fixed at the point C.

The member GFD has a mass of .08 kg, and a center of mass location at the midpoint bewteen F and D. Its moment of inertia about its center of mass is 3.E-5 kgm^2. The member HFE has the same properties, with its center of mass at the midpoint between F and E.

The meber DCA has a mass of .10 kg, and a center of mass location at the midpoint between C and A. Its moment of inertia about its center of mass is 1.3E-4 kgm^2. The member ECB has the same properties, with its center of mass at the midpoint between C and B.

a) Draw a free body diagram for each member

b) Write newtons second law and rotataional second law for each member.

c) Write constraint equations for the accelerations of the joints at D,E, and F.

d) Use these constrraint equations, and part b to solve for the angular acceleration vectors of the points G and H

e) what are the acceleration vectors of the points A and B?

f) What are the acceleration vectors of the points G and H?

Consider the rongeur shown below. At the instant shown, all members are at rest. Assume the rongeur is fixed at the point C. The member GFD has a mass of 0.08 kg, and a center of mass location at the midpoint between F and D. Its moment of inertia about its center of mass is 3.00E-5 kgm2. The member HFE has the same properties, with its center of mass at the midpoint between F and E. The member DCA has a mass of 0.10 kg, and a center of mass location at the midpoint between C and A. Its moment of inertia about its center of mass is 1.30E-4 kgm2. The member ECB has the same properties, with its center of mass at the midpoint between C and B. Draw a free body diagram for each member. Write N2L and RN2L for each member. Notice that two of the members pivot about a fixed point.
