We are studing entrepreneurship and are working on designing solutions that address public issues. I wonder if your mechanical engineering experts might provide some help to a small part of our project?

I have a car scissor jack and would like some 'dirt cheap' ways to electrically turn the screw to extend and retract the jack using the car's battery. If possible we also wish to operate multiple jacks simultaneously?

The other query we are seeking help with is a solution that enables us to take a metal case that we wish to attach to the undercarriage of a car and to unlatch one side to fully open its cover - like holding a book horizontally and allowing the front page to drop downwards 90degrees.. Then once completing its function we again wish to reserve the process to close it again. again we are looking for extremely cost effective solutions.

but yes then you need to ensure proper insulation and be careful with the way you transfer electricity to the contact point of the car and the jack bar
