Is there anyone who knows how to do this? This is part of a homework assignment that I am working on for my Control Systems course and I really help! This problem has to be completed using only MATLAB. Here's how it works:
Consider a unity feedback control system with an unstable plant,

In MATLAB, design a PD controller G_c(s) = K_p + K_d*susing the root-locus method such that the closed-loop system has a damping ratio, zeta = 0.7 and a natural frequency, omega_n = 0.5 rad/sec.
