Question
This is the problem and the work that i have for it. I know the majority of my work is correct, but the final matrix isn't right.
Use mesh current analysis to solve for all of the mesh currents IA, IB, IC, ID, IE, and IF in the following circuit. What is v1? You must have the correct matrices written down in order to receive full credit. (As a way to check your answer note that i1 = -86.63 mA). 400IA + 10V + 2000(IA-TB) + 100V = 0 2000(IB - IA) + 300(IB - IC) + 100(IB - ID) = 0 300(IC - IB) + 50IC = 0 -100 +100(ID - IB) + 1000(ID - IE) = 0 300(IE) + 1000(IE - ID) + 400(IE - IF) IF = 4A 2400IA - 2000IB = -110V -2000IA + 2400IB - 300IC - 100ID = 0 350IC - 300IB = 0 1100ID - 1000IE - 100IB = 100 1700IE - 1000ID - 400IF = 0 IF=4A [ ]Explanation / Answer
i got the mistake
1) u applied kvl in the mesh where the current source is present, there u are wrong.
2) u can apply kvl in any other supermesh and get 1 more equation in terms of the current
3) the matrix is perfect except for the last ro, it shud be 1
4)and the in the other column it shud be 4
5) am falling short of time or i wud hav solvd the question and uploaded the ans :)
hope u are able to solve the question nw.
6) it will be like [big matrix] x [ Ia Ib Ic Id Ie If]= [-100 0 0 100 0 4]
7)solve the matix by echolar form and get all the current and den V1 will be easier to find
