Steps to find dip

1. Rotate the great circle of planes in anticlockwise or clockwise to bring at the north positions.

2. Count the degree from equator to the great circle, it will be dip for that great circle.

From above steps it can be found out that,

(a) Plane C will have the largest dip

(b) Plane D will have the smallest dip

(c) Since dip direction is perpendicular to the great circle, therefore from figure it can be found out that plane A dip in to the northeast quadrant.

(d) To find the strike of plane B, count the degree from North in clockwise direction and it come out to be 200.

Strike direction of plane B will be N 200 E. Hence option (ii) N 200 E is correct

(e) Steps find the trend of line of intersection between plane B and C.
