Ans. Upper management support is always crucial for the success of the project. For instance, in a project, where the change is required for the better outcome, Upper management support is important. There are always needs of developing tools, techniques, strategies or programs which are required for the solid waste minimization. Upper management support sets guidelines regarding the organizational commitment to goals. They develop and implement waste minimization program which motivates the project team to follow the standards and thus reduces the tendency to disregard procedural changes.

Ans. Sustainability project is implemented within a team or organization for the benefit of the project and better outcome. The part of the project team who implements a sustainability project involves strategic developing team. Before implementing the same, the culture and working environment of the project team has to be properly identified.

Ans. Ans. A Pareto analysis is the method of looking at all the root causes of a problem and trying to determine which ones have the greatest frequency. The technique is called a Pareto analysis because it is based on the Pareto Principle, also known as the 80/20 Rule. This rule states that roughly 80% of the problems stem from around 20% of the possible causes
Pareto analysis can be very useful in the solid waste management. By using this analysis, statistical technique is developed that is used for the selection of a limited number of tasks that produce the significant overall effect. The analysis uses the Pareto principle according to which large majority of effects are produced by a few key causes, in this case waste generation i.e. 80% of the effects are caused by 20% of the causes. The idea is to identify the 20% significant wastes components that generate 80% of the total waste and then target that 20% of significant causes for waste minimization
