Question

5. Describe how the term “E” waste is related to this document. Are we potentially curing one environmental problem and creating another? REWORD this answer.

I can see how the more and more we develop more complex “high tech” equipment, lighting systems, and hvac systems we are creating more E-waste. I think we need to make a priority on what is more important lower our e-waste production or reducing energy requirements by making our buildings more energy efficient with the use of technology in our equipment design.

Explanation / Answer

The world is fighting many different ecological crises, but one of the least talked about is the problem of electronic waste, or E-waste.

It’s not just a huge problem within any developed country– it’s quickly becoming a global crisis that must be addressed.

To stop the negative effects of e-waste in the world around us, it’s important to gain a better understanding of the problem, issues driving the crisis and how we can make a difference and help solve this problem
