Breast cancer

Affected body part: Breast cancer is characterized by the type of cells that become malignant in the breast skin, duct or tissue.

Warning signs: Swelling, warmth, redness or darkening of the breast.

Treatment: Breast cancer is curable in almost 99% of cases. There are many types of therapy available including chemotherapy, hormonal therapy and radiation therapy. The type of treatment depends on the stages of breast cancer.

Breast cancer is more prevalent in US. Almost one out of eight women suffers once from breast cancer during their lifetimes.

Certain people having sedentry lifestyle, heavy drinking, obesity, not having children, and high breast density are more at risk than others.

In today's society, cancer cases are increasing because of the sedentry life style. Human made (artificial) compounds are more responsible for cancer. Natural compounds are safer.
