This question is based upon the Norton thevenin equivalentcircuits (Method of short circuit through nodal analysis) When there is a short circuit present, I know that anyresistor in parallel will not have current running through it. Butwhat if: 1) A independant current source is in parallel? 2) A independant volage source in parallel? 3) A dependant current source in parallel? 4) A dependant voltage source in parallel? Will any of the above have current running through them ifthey are each seperately in parallel with a short circuit? Furthermore, if any of the above were also in series with aresistor (ie 1-4 each seperately in series with a resistor; andthis combination in parallel with a short circuit) will anythingchange? with series R
1) The current will all flow through the parallel short. The voltage across the I and R will be equal and opposite,sum = 0
2) The current through the short will be E/R, no current willgo elsewhere.
3) and 4) doesn't matter again
