I am looking for general understanding of the issues, not a lot of detail. For this discussion 1. A header with the elelemt you will discuss 2. One short paragraph on the element to be discussed, what is it? Might be just 2 sentences or three. 3. One paragraph explaining how this element effects waves, and how it affects codes. If it treats the codes the same, you do not need to address C/A and P codes separately; the same goes for waves. I am looking for general effects not a lot of technical detail. In no case do you need to tell me what codes are embedded in which waves. There are two methods for determine the range from SV to the REC in GPS; codes (C/A and P) and waves (L1 and L2).
