Question

In the problem we are given coordinates of two points of a triangleand two angles. We are asked to find the coordinates of thethird point. I understand the procedure to solve this type ofproblem, but the thing I don't get is that one of the angles givenis greater than 180 deg. It is listed as angle BAP wasmeasured as 283 deg. It was specified to be an azimuthangle. The only thing I can think of is that it is theexterior angle, but it seems like they would have specified ifso. Could someone please give me a response soon, thankyou.

Matthew

Explanation / Answer

azimuth is the angle in degrees clockwise from true north. It's possible that this isn't even an angle with regards to the triangle but rather to help you find location of the point.  I'd love to help, but don't have the textbook. Post the full question and I'll take a look
