Mind altering plants can produce altered state of consciousness depending upon the quality and quantity of the psychoactive material ingested.
Nymphaea nouchali is often known by its synonym- Nymphaea stellata.The common names are Blue lotus, Star lotus, red and Blue water lily. Its native to southern and eastern parts of Asia. Its the national flower of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
this is an aquatic plant , and is native of Afghanistan, Indian subcontinent, Taiwan, Southeast Asis and Australia. It is used as a garden flower in Thailand and Myanmar. It is found in the static or slow flowing aquatic habitat of low to moderate depth.
