Main purpose of the article:Main purpose of article is to highlight reaction of public towards genetically modified breeds which was being projected as new brave science that was being proposed as solution for feeding large global popukation in future .Negative side of GM breeds are highlighted and the risks associated with that how bad science can affect human life in a big way.
Summarize the main point/s or key conclusion/s presented in the article:
Article start with highlighting the debate that started in society when genetically modified breeds was introduced as new brave science .Public was aware that natural tempering with hormones and genes of original species acn result in irreversible genetic breeds that can be a big problrm in future.Positives of genetically modification is also shown which are that it can feed millions of hungry people across the globe ,can help in fighting environmental deteriotaion and also can help in limiting use of pesticides ,herbicides.
But negatives of it are huge and can lead to much bigger problem.Bad science and big businesses can make unholy alliance that can lead to negative results for human civilization.

I personally agree with author comments on the article as genetically modified species are a very much high risk method that can too result in positives in solving global future problems but can lead to much bigger negative problems as they can lead to irreversible genetic modified breeds.
