Overall the film was not surprising at all; main reason is being a political science major. China’s problems with trying to regulate it’s environmentally issues is a huge concern within the international community. The film was far from bias I believe, because it properly provide us with details of how China is ruining its environment, but at the same time telling us ways they are trying to improve their contribution to global warning. One thing that was introduced in the film that I did not know about was when they showed the two men in America on top of a hill testing the air in the environment. To my surprise in the end they figured out that the chemicals where coming out of China and traveling to the United States. The take away from this is even though others countries such as America had time to become the big powers they are today without any regulation and stress from the international community we now have more information than ever. Which we did not have during that time so all we can do as a international body is improve what we can. It will not be easy, because like Ricardo said they have to find the balance between reducing pollution but at the same keeping its economy stable.

The film shown was not very fascinating to the viewer becuase he/she is a student of political science. On the other hand, the film shown was based upon the struggle of China to overcome its national environmental issues which is also a huge problem among the international community. Overall, the film shown was very balanced and informative in nature as it described the porblems faced by Chinese people and the possible remedies which could be followed to prevent/ameliorate these problems and thus contribute towards rectification of global warming. However, the viewer was intriguing about the part of the film which showed an experimental testing of high altitude air by two Americans as they found that harmful chemicals released in the Chinese environement were somehow diffusing towards the United States. The film was indeed very informative in nature and sprouted the idea that it is not important to become a superpower country in the world only but other issues need to be resolved at the same time. However, being the bearers of power and capacity, the leading countries also have the duty to help other countries to evade such global environmental issues. Though this task seems difficult because environmental and economic balance always need to be established, but provided a massive contribution is there, the solution can be found out.
