An elementary school wants to study reading skills and improvement trends within their first grade student population. They want to determine which activities and interventions help students with lower reading scores significantly increase their reading scores. For your research, you plan to have three groups of students. One group will have the same reading interventions improve reading scores. For your past three years. The other 2 groups will experience two newer reading interventions, not yet tried by the school. Students for all groups will be identified by a start of the year reading test. Those with low scores will be randomly assigned to an intervention group.Progress in reading will be measured by reading test given at the halfway point of the year.You will then compare the scores from the three groups to see if there is any significant difference between scores. The participants in the study are:

1) Three groups of students : One group will have the same reading interventions improve reading scores. The other 2 groups will experience two newer reading interventions, not yet tried by the school.

2) Supervisory team who assess and monitor the levels of skill development among the students. Each such team can be assigned to three individual groups of students. They will help to determine which activities and interventions help students with lower reading scores significantly increase their reading scores. This will assist them them to identify the shortfalls and differences in the outcome of various activities of the students.

Informed consent can be obtaiined by studying the scores of each activity and comparing it with other students. This will help to see what kind of improvement in skill is required for a particular student who has low scores.

Risks will arise especially when ethical issues occur and difference of opinion occurs resulting in violation when discussing on general issues. These risks can be mitigated by applying standard rules and regulations which will appy fairly to all 3 group of students so that the descripancies are minimized.

If reading scores for one of the group's is statistically higher than the other two groups at the halfway point in the year, root cause must be found at the existing stage that explains the high scores. A statistical bar graph can be used to study the trends in scores and analyse the reasons.
