Explanation / Answer

1) B = o*I/2r

so

I = (2*B*r)/o

Given:

B = 2.50 mT = 2.5*10^-3 T

d = 0.015m

So, r = d/2 = 0.0075m

So, we have

I = (2*2.5x10^-3*0.0075)/(4x10^-7) = 29.84A

2) Now B = o*I/2r so

r = o*I/(2B) = 2x10^-7*29.84/0.0025 = 2.39x10^-3m
