and k.e = 0.5*mv^2
we know that the mass of beta particle is mb = 1.67*10^-27 kg
and mass of alpha particle is ma = 6.6446572*10^-27 kg
both having same kinetic energy
equating the kinetic energies
0.5*mb*vb^2 = 0.5*ma*va^2
