Part C How far away from you is the second image of yourself in the mirror in front of you? Express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate unitsExplanation / Answer
(A) that will be the image of person by front mirror.
d = 2 d2 = 3 m
(c) image formed by back mirror. this will work as object for front mirror.
image from back mirror = d1 - d2
image from front mirror = d1 + (d1 - d2) = 2d1 - d2
distance from you = 2d1 - d2 + d2 = 2d1 = 4.2 m
(e) image by back mirror of image that was formed in (a)
d = d1 + d2
image distance from front mirror = (d1 + d2) + d1
distance from you = 2d1 + d2 + d2
=2(d1 + d2)
