The average distance between the Earth and the Sun = 1.496 x 10^11 km,

Actual path of the earth around the sun is ecliptical. But for the approximation consider the path as a circle.

So, the circumference = 2*pi*R = 2*3.141*1.496 x 10^11 = 9.398 x 10^11 km

A year is 365.25 days, which is 8766 hours.

Therefore, the requisite speed = (9.398 x 10^11) / 8766 = 1.072 x 10^8 km/hr

Covert this in m/s -

So the requisite speed = (1.072 x 10^8 x 1000) / 3600 = 2.98 x 10^7 m/s
