Question
2) Consider that the floor of the parking garage is cast as a series of T-Beams as shown below, and the same scenario has been presented as in the previous question. Compare the partially cured strengths of the beams at the time the forms are removed to the fully cured strength. (Pay attention to the units requested!) 16" 16" 16 #3 STIRRUPS @6-O.?. 10 10 Beam calculations: Effective flange width of the beams Depth of concrete compression block Factored dead weight of one T-beam section Design moment capacity of beam Nominal shear capacity of concrete Nominal shear capacity of stirrups Units in in kips kip.ft kips kips 7 days 28 days 3) In the fully cured T-Beam shown in question #2, assuming a total factored load of 120 kips distributed over each beam, where would stirrups not be required in the beam span? Answer:Explanation / Answer
3. Ans :- we have to provide the stirrups in full lenght of beam.but the spacing is ,maximum at center of beam because the shear stress is minimum at center of span
.and also the spacing is minimum at Support.
