Question

I have a two part question, and I am able to get thefirst part (a), but I can't for the life of me get the second part(b)..... Here it is:
A) An 80.2-cm-long pendulum with a 0.532 kg bob is released fromrest at an initial angle of q0 with the vertical. At thebottom of the swing, the speed of the bob is 2.98 m/s. Find theinitial angle q0.

--> this is the correct answer to part a.....6.42×101 deg

B) What angle does the pendulum make with the vertical when thespeed of the bob is 1.49 m/s? --> for this, I keep getting "30.82 deg" but that's notright. I've tried everything...please help! I'm desperatehere..... I have a two part question, and I am able to get thefirst part (a), but I can't for the life of me get the second part(b)..... Here it is:

Explanation / Answer

   we are given that    L = 80.2 cm    m = 0.532 kg    vmax = A    we use that    Ft = - m g sin        = - k s     = s / L    but = (k / m)    k = 2 m    = (g / L)    vmax = A    solve for angle o
