Weight is pulling Mass 2 down by m2g. Throughthe use of the pully, mass 2 is pulling up on mass 1 throughthe pully by this same amount. Weight is pulling down on Mass1 by m1g. So add them together. T=m2g+m1g =g(m2+m1) = 9.8 * (4+6) = 9.8 * 10 = 98N
