4. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is the fluid present inside the skull, it is the fluid which protects the brain and acts like a cushion to brain. When CSF leaks out out it causes the brain to sag inside the skull and can lead to intracranial hypotension. Patient will show symptom of severe headache when in upright position along with neck stiffness and pain, nausea and vomiting.
