Let T be the tension then Horizontal component be H and vertical be V then, Taking the moment of force abt edge we have as, If l is the length of the beam then, 1960*lcos30+1390*(lcos30/2)=Tsin50*lcos30 From this we get tension T in it. Taking the algebric sum of vertical components we haveas, Tsin50+V=1960+1390 Taking the algebric sum of vertical components we haveas, Tsin50+V=1960+1390 From this we get the vertical force V in it.
